This happens because the network is farking over-subscribed and that Knott-Craig bastard is too greedy & lining his pocket to allow them to spend money to upgrade.
Yes it does happen, either the software cannot cope or there's a faulty mux card somewhere in the exchange. I know the Vodacom switches are similar to the Telkom ones at the hardware level, but run different software.
I have seen this same kind of strange **** happen during my tenure at Telkom SA (PTY) LTD an integrated circuit on a card somewhere goes bad, and you get stuff like this happening.
Funny how they always blame the handset. I doubt it though because, the voice signals are encrypted using some unique thing about the phone, I cannot see how another phone can decrypt the data of another phone. The fault is in their network, mustn't come and tell me pig **** is cottage pie.
It's doing this on the Roodekrans BS and the BS at Clearwater mall, the latter being very iffy the WHOLE DAY TODAY... every second attempt to make a call gives "Connection Error"
