And my main problem with people like JohnGalt are not his views, but the misinformation that he spreads - he is really badly informed, but tries to argue as an expert - in my book that doesn't go down well.

"You" guys get all your information by surfing news websites and posting any story you can relating to crime, corruption or anything else of the sort. You then present these to the rest of us along with comments ranging from "typical ANC", "Only in Africa", "This country is going down the drain". These comments are made regardless of the nationality of the person in the article, where it took place or anything of the sort. Even Somalian pirates are blamed on the ANC! And yet John is the one spreading misinformation!

I have posted stats on numerous occasions. The counter argument - "how can we believe those stats, Bob at work told me about his neighbour who got hijacked" or "how can we believe them when they have been manipulated by the ANC". And this water cooler gossip makes you better informed than those who do these studies for a living?

Of course you won't because then you will have free reign to say as you please, no matter how inaccurate what you are saying is, without opposition and balance being provided. What must bite you guys most is that both John and I, and others on this forum, are white and appear to both support parties other than the ANC. We can't be written off as uneducated, stupid, corrupt black ANC supporters!

Ah Lance, relax, that is the point I was trying to make, you will not be banned for disagreeing with me or anyone, The fact that you are still here and posting must surely prove this? And john is not white, we have at least established that much.
You seem to forget that I was banned? I also get infractions, so insulting me by calling me a brown noser really does nothing, I look at the fact that you and john are still here and base my opinion on that evidence, yes, the mods do a good job at balancing things, I would like to see you try, this will be a liberal, sunshine bs forum within a week, if not less with you at the helm.

If I were you, I wouldn't associate myself too closely with him.

He thinks that he is smart, but his posts indicate the opposite - maybe he should think a bit more before posting.

And I don't associate myself closely with anyone on this forum, so please refrain from grouping me with anyone else.

I must admit that you are somewhat better in this respect, although I often don't agree with your sentiments, too unrealistic for my liking. If I want unrealistic, I will go and watch Avatar again. Or even better, Alice in Wonderland.

Well if you that worried about that side of the fence spreading misinformation, just look at the OP, she posts a title "Welcome to SA" and then proceeds to post some links, some of which has nothing to do with SA.
