Western Digital HD TV

You owe us a review ;) How does it play on your 74cm?

Perfecto, about the same as my iMac.
Worth the money.

Watched about 10 movies on it so far.

Using my 16 GB flash drive instead of a hard drive as I prefer to keep the HDD's close to the iMac. :) And less wires.

Cool. Have you watched any HD content? How does look compared to normal DVD quality?

I dunno what the point would be of watching HD content on my TV, everthing looks the same in it to me. Tube tv...

Remote takes a bit of getting used to, it's tiny.

Yeah, I was just curious to see how it would look. It will be worthwhile when you get your Full HD LCD one day ;)

Setting up WD TV HD on wirless network

Hi there,
Since I bought my WD TV HD I see the updated Live version was released which supports wirless networking...I've found some articles on how to turn the older versions into network supported players by using a USB wireless dongle and some hacked firmware but seems you have to use a very specific few USB dongles with supported chipsets.....

Has anyone successfully done this mod with a locally purchased dongle?
Thanks,
