Western Digital Warranty Question

Hi Gents,

So I bought a 6TB from someone last year, it has subsequently failed and I need to have it swapped out.

Problem is I have no idea where to do this, have tried getting in contact with the seller but his phone is off all the time.

I checked the serial number on WD's site and it has warranty until next year.

How can I go about doing this?

You can go to rectron, they charge a small fee around R70.

You'll need a thumb and index finger as well as a stanley screwdriver, remove broken drive by loosening.......

Managed to find that it was purchased at Correx.
They will honour the warranty.
