what a tough month

Ahhh gotta love the youngsters who just start out...

I did a similar thing, lived the "high" lifestyle for a few months until I realised if I actually wanted anything like a house later on I had to be somewhat prudent after just starting out......

I see a tough few months coming my way ... :/

Tax to be paid ; tyres to be bought ; spending profits on rental to not incurr more tax next year : birthdays and Christmas ...

you should have worked harder on that degree, high marks = better firm = more money, i know someone who started articles on R22000 pm this year, not bad for a fresh out of varsity 22 year old.

R22K pm sounds right for a graduate these days but I do not want to take it away from anyone who deserves it. Not easy studying - I know, I've got UNISA exams tomorrow.

Will also ad on the starting salary that firms don't just hire anyone, so these graduates that don't put in any effort cannot expect to get a descent salary when they enter the real world.

i was referring specifically to law firms, people doing articles usually get a pittance (like the op) also you would be surprised at some of the low salaries some companies offer
