What André de Ruyter would have done differently

André de Ruyter believes he should have insisted on written commitments of political support before taking up the position of Eskom CEO in late 2019.

South Africa endured its worst years of load-shedding during De Ruyter's leadership at the utility, which came to an abrupt end in early 2023 following an explosive interview with Annika Larsen on E-tv.

What difference would that have made?
 
Is it April fools already? How would it have been enforced?
 
If this guy hasn't realized yet his entire placement was part of a calculated move involving bribery, setups and sabotage to prove a point and nothing he ever did would have changed anything, then he's clearly not very bright.
 
It's either people gravely underestimating the ANCs wit or De Ruyter is one dumb p**s.
