What android

I think both of these phones will be here or almost here when you can upgrade. AFAIK both are middle May to June, hope for your part it is middle May.
 
My last three phones were all anticipated purchases. I tried my darnedest to get accurate info from both the distributors and the carriers with regards to release and subsequent availability. I'll never put myself through that anguish again - nobody ever has a clue.
 
Ja, they do tend to get the dates wrong. But this is the step between the single core phones and the dual core phones. I would have waited, if I knew it is close to coming out.

This seems to have improved as of late. We were always months behind the rest of the world, but it's now thankfully more often than not a case of a few weeks...
 
If you are into modding your phone, and thinking of installing a custom ROM in the future, then get the Samsung SGS2.
Word is that HTC is locking the bootloader on the Sensation (as well as future phones).
 
I agree that the Omnia is a crappy phone, but I think it is because of Windows mobile and not the phone itself. After my omni I was almost cured from touchscreen phones for life but luckily I tried the Desire. Played around on a Galaxy s the other day. Very nice, but I'll stick to my HTC.
