  3. No, and it's kept my system clean since it has been installed

Avast Free Edition 4.8.

Not so fond of the new AVG, although it looks nice..

1) AVG Free 7.5 & Avast 4.8 to confirm possible findings.
2) Never had a problem with 7.5
3) No infections.

Same here but I started having serious problems with virtual memory issues after upgrading to IExplorer7 and upgrading AVG free and Avast. Seems to me one or the other of the above have memory leaks and Avast NOW interfered with AVG. Thus deleted avast until further notice. Still having Virtual memory issues tho.

Can't remember now, but wasn't I the one who told you that? :D

I had no problems with running the former versions of AVG free and Avast together for a long time until I recently upgraded both at the same time. I then got a message from Avast that someone is trying to modify its core file and on checking I found it was AVG trying to scan it.

1)AVG free 7.5
2)No problems
3)My computer is currently infected but AVG doesn't detected it :(

Is AVG 8 any better at detecting than 7.5?

There have been numerous complaints about AVG 8 in other forums. It seems that it's not doing what it's suppose to do and has several performance issues on certain PC's as well.

1) ClamWin
2) No
3) Yes, someone used my notebook and inserted an infected memory stick. After that incident, I disabled autorun and no viruses yet. This was not the fault of ClamWin as it does not do on-access scanning.

2. No
3. No

Had one or two problems in the past with certain file types but a quick update fixed it all up!
