Yep, well aware of that... But saying OB does not sound right here in the old Cape Province. Obie is what the vagrants and beggars call you -- "Hey Obie, hoe's van so 'n paar bob assemblief?"

Ha ha! Quite true, I too still use OBS. I remember copious amounts of OBS saved us during some compulsory wintertime camps in the eighties.....

Did 2 camps in Queenstown in winter in the mid-80s. They gave us stripped down noddy cars to use as the "stopper groups" for night time roadblocks, so we promptly stuck a good few bottles of OBS in the smoke canisters! Great hiding place Filled all the outside bins with dry wood and you know what happened next... SAPS were not amused!
