fridgevr, how well does your Phenom BE overclock ?

Well you are able to unlock two more cores and make it effectively equal to a AMD 940 quad soooo its pretty good. But having said that there is absolute no need for me personally to clock it cause the x2 3.1Ghz with 6mb L3 cahce is more than enough.

Maybe I should one of those sometime. My AthlonII 620 has no L3 cache. But unlocking the extra cores on dual core CPUs is not always possible so its a bit of gamble.

Ja its true but ive read alot and it seems the 550 BE can be overclocked a lot without any negative effects. But like i said not really necessary.

Very nice. Looks very elegant. That PSU is crazy man! You don't have any graphics cards. At least you know you have expandability.

Now all you need is an awesome fast SSD. (and me too)

Thanks - for me its all about smaller is better. I am thinking of going ITX next provided it can do 6core Phenom CPUs. The onboard gfx is good enough for UT3 (I play once every 4 months) and HD pr0n videos (why do you think I have 6TB storage) :p

Ha Ha! Yes my graphics card is just a source of noise most of the time. I'm buying a fan controller next for it because I hate noise, and I rarely play games these days. I dunno about a 6-core in an ITX though, it might be too small, but if you have a good design it'll work well.

Still you could get away with a 300W PSU, 1.2kW! Damn!
