We have a lemon tree and neighbours come to us asking for bags of lemons. People at work also beg for lemons.

Takes a bit to get used to. A lot of the herbal or digestive alcohols are like that. Jägermeister tastes like cough syrup for me but its growing on me. Fernet Branca is a whole other level of great!
