3) What is your favourite thing about your current car?
looks and turbo
4)What would you buy next and why?
another focus st because its one hell of a fun car to drive

you enjoy yours?
The build quality on mine is absolutely garbage. Doors rattle, the sound symposer doesnt work in the cold, the radio has issues, usb works about half the time, i hate the way the bonnets look on the join lines (like the car has been in an accident), the torque steer gets annoying after a while and the fuel consumption is bad, even for a "fast-ish"car

What is great is when it does put its power down. I know its rated as 0 - 100 at 6.5 seconds, but in gear acceleration is extremely strong...when it gets the power down...

1) BMW R1200GS Adventure
2) Primary vehicle, and to go exploring over the weekend with my dad :D
3) Riding past traffic :p Plus it handles so darn well
4) No clue, keeping this one for a loooong time

I have a 2009 C200k Avantgarde. Last month I tried to start it and nothing happened. The dash lit up and the lights and radio worked but nothing happened when turning the key. It turns out that the Electronic Steering Lock failed. You know that "whirr" sound that happens when you put the key in the ignition? Well that's the steering lock disengaging. If the motor that drives steering lock fails the car refuses to start.

Merc replacement price: R16 000 (before labour). Had it done at an independent for R7400.

Phew thats costly. Atleast its not a common issue though

1) What car do you drive?
2014 Fiesta ST
2) What was the purpose of its purchase? Speed and fun to drive.
3) What is your favourite thing about your current car? Puts a smile on my face every time I drive. Great little car.
4)What would you buy next and why? Mercedes A200. Looks awesome and much more refined

1) What car do you drive? 2014 Volvo V40 T5 R-design
2) What was the purpose of its purchase? It is very sport, fast, comfortable, cheap to insure cause no one would steal it, got the looks, it's red and it's safe
3) What is your favourite thing about your current car? Speed and sound
4)What would you buy next and why? Mercedes Benz C200 because nothing else will compare

How is the maintenance and fuel consumption on your car? Ive been eyeballing the T5 model for a while now as an option. Looking for something thats not that flash but has a bit of speed!

I've been lucky i have a few rattles but nothing major just a bump to the door and its gone, and the sound symposer no issues yet, but for the torque steer its a personal preference i think, i enjoy it alot i like the fact i have to wrestle with the car sometimes, my fuel consumption is actually good on a heavy heavy foot im doing 10.5/100 on the highway im under 8/100

what year model was yours ???

i been reading the 2012 and 2013 models were really really bad, but the 2014 models they fixed alot fo the issues

Citroen C3 VTI Attraction Plus
Was desperate to get into a sturdier car than my previous Renault Sandero, and Citroen was the only OEM in that range with R30 000 trade-in assistance.
Comfy interior (I went for the mid-level spec), solid 'thunky' doors, frugal fuel consumption ... great city car.
Volkswagen Tiguan or Ford Fusion ... the C3 is a great little car, but 'masculine' is not one of its attributes lol.
