What would be a non-entry car?

Also, forgot to mention that I did go to Audi. None of their A3's, A1s were limited on the show room had everything I was looking for, such as a sunroof.
The Ford Fiesta looked cool, until I saw the radio console which looked like a Nuclear console.
If I go for a Golf GTI might as well go for a A class with full specs as I'm able to get a good deal at Merc.

That sounds like a stupid reason to exclude the best car on your list,unless you plan to spend your life inside a dealership I wouldn't let something as trivial as that put me off owning the best car I can get for my money.:erm:

Go to another dealership or speak to a manager.

Actually considering this now.. I was thinking going Polo BlueMotion but a new one costs the same as a demo/1yr old Countryman as it's a bit bigger and allows for road trips.. Another to consider is Subaru XV

This is true. It just allows the engine to suck more air, creating more power. With more air, more fuel is burned.
The key to a reduced fuel consumption is engine downsizing.
 
So doing some reading, apparently Mazda's resell value is horrible.
These were European reviews, so I'm not sure if thats the same here in SA.

Also, what are peoples views on the Volvo V40?
It just seems like a car with the latest safety features to me
 
Volvo is a good car but you'll lose greatly financially because of the very poor resale value.
If you don't mind the financial loss it will serve you well and safely.
 
So after doing some more reviews I've come full circle.
I'm now leaning on the Audi A3 & BMW 3 series.
I'll go to Audi Bruma cause it seems they have a lot of demo vehicles in stock.
Not sure where to go for a proper BMW dealership on the East (also finding one in a non plain white colour).

Now we're talking. Why not the A4 if considering the 3 Series? Both being sedans.
