If you could buy back a previously owned car which one would it be.....

So far I have owned two cars between Chevrolet Spark and Honda Brio, I would buy back the Honda Brio. Look wise its ugly but its more fast and fuel saver compare to Chevy Spark.

Easy call... The Opel 2.0 GSi I bought back in '91.

Early twenties... Had more fun and silliness in that car with mates and girlfriends than any other car I've owned. It was also a rocket that would run up to 227km/h on the digital clocks and leave my cousin's identical GSi in the dust. Every.Damn.Time.

Goddamn I loved that car.

My Golf 1 1.8 Cti. No fancy electronics and Bosch K Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, had aircon as well.
No fancy door locks like Polos which costs a packet.

Great thread, often think of my car i sold in '97 for R6k to go to UK for a few years.
Miss my Opel Kadett Cub 1.3 4 speed with 350k on the clock. Bullet Proof Engine, never once let me down

VW Polo 1.9TDi. Purely for the fuel consumption and power on tap.

But must say. Loving our current ASX. Not great with fuel but so reliable, comfy and has all the bells and whistles we need.

Mazda RX2 and 2001 Clio Sport. The qualifying statement being: Not in the state that they were when I replaced them!
I pranged the Clio in spectacular fashion. Every panel was dented. Wow! That car had heart and thrived on being pushed. As the classic statement goes: "They don't make them like that anymore."

None of them, my current car is lighter on fuel than all except one, has more features than all of them, nvh is infinitely better, has more power, is more comfortable and is by far the most reliable of all of the cars I had.

22 cars thus far & counting.

A few that I'd buy back/again:
Practical, in the order that I owned them:
Ford Escort 1600 Sport.
Monza GSi, digital dash with upside down hockey stick rev counter!
BMW E39 M5.

For fun, also in order of ownership:
Ford F350 with 454cu Chev motor.
AC Cobra replica with 302cu Windsor motor.

But the one car I'd take back in a heartbeat is the 1975 VW Beetle, my first car.

Toyota Conquest 180i Sport. My first car. sold it at 300 000kms, engine and gearbox was never touched (other than clutch replacement). Had those amazing toyota bucket seats. Was still in great condition. If i had it today, would still have looked stock.
