What do couples fight about most?

you'll have 2 black eyes if you were my husband looking at other women LOL. i'm the ONLY one you need to look at. and in saying that.............did you see that one guy with the beeger muscles...............was just saying.

wow dont like women like that. had a gf like that.. twas terrible
its okay to look at the menu but not order. no harm in looking around.

for anyone in a co-habiting intimate relationship,
what causes most of the fights at home?

is it finances?
children?
the in-laws?
friend?

In my case at the moment it is exes. It is not that we don't trust each other but as we both have children (him a daughter, me a son) from other people it does tend to complicate things. She (the ex) is always phoning him with nonsense and I am getting fed up with it (for instance, the other night she phones him in a state because she doesn't have electricity - she wanted him to go to her house and stay until it comes back on - I mean :wtf:). At least he saw how unreasonable this was (we were having dinner) and refused to go.

Ok, we are not staying together yet but he spends about 3-4 nights a week at my place. (He lives alone in his own home).

you fight about small shyte and 'space'.....

playing PS3 for 8 hours ONCE will be reworded as "...ALWAYS playing playstation THE WHOLE DAY......"....then you get pissed off because you did it once, now she says 'always' and if you even look at the playstation she gets on your a$$ about playing THE WHOLE DAY, AGAIN, then you get more pissed off and feel that your space is encrouched upon....then you watch sport, then she get's on your a$$ about still in front of the TV ALL DAY and not doing shyte around the house and that shyte is still broken and its all your fault....

then she makes you nice food and you watch Carte Blanche together and then she tells its F1 qualifying coming up and goes out and buys beer and brings you chips and beer to watch with the F1 and then you are not mad anymore...

I can relate to that!!

Easier to list the schitt we don't fight about.

Well, that's not entirely true, I can't think of anything...

We don't really fight - but the tension in our household normally comes from the 'I want to play some videogames and surf after work vs she wants me to help with the kids/household and spend time with her' dichotomy. That and me losing stuff or not putting it away properly and thereby creating unnecessary work for her. 90% of the time I'm in the wrong so I shuffle over and help or apologize. Despite being pretty tight financially it's never really a dispute because we communicate our money quite closely with one another.

That sounds familiar.
I am still getting it because I've misplaced a Memory Stick.

Ah - "friends" is a very real one ...

all's well then. :-)

most of the people i speak to, say that money is one of the most important issues. money and sex. if you can communicate openly about these two, the other little issues are just that: little issues.

does that make sense??

something else that seems to be a killer for relationships, is the ex's thing, your children, my children and sometimes our children. how do these kind of relationships usually pan out? it seems very complicated. :-)
