Rollout priorities

A poll that WBS could consider is the priorities (as seen by members of this forum) for the rollout of the 22 identified new BS's. There are lots of other factors like availability of kit, site prep, logistics of the installation team, etc but maybe WBS would find it interesting to know that, say, 90% of voters want priority given to the Pofadder tower.

Another poll, much more difficult to define, would be where BS's are needed most.

that would be awesome but would WBS really change thier rollout plans because some customers on one forum made a poll?

they won't be no, and also you dont want myadsl becoming the official mouth piece for WBS, I think WBS should just release all thier info through email, thier website and the press and allow myadsl to be a seperate independant entity which is always a good thing.

Anyways for all intenstive purposes myADSL is a commercial site, they may not make too much profit at the end of the month after costs but all the ads mean it does indeed make money, so why would WBS change all of thier plans for thier own website to bring that information here to another company and server and make another company money?

OH and IC I have a polling idea, how about a poll to see wether or not to have polls

ic i was posting that the same time you were posting so all my comments were directed at vowthorn (the post above yours) I didn't hit the quote button becuase I thought it would appear under his post and had no idea of knowing you were posting at the same time.

and the poll about having a poll thing was a joke :p because if you have a poll about having polls then whats the point, because you already have a poll

All they need now is to loose customers after the ordial that is already going on. The competition is on and iburst should really re-evaluate their packages and pricing.

WBS ready to show how high-speed internet access should be run
[Business Day]
WBS hopes to impress demanding and wealthy users seeking fast and efficient voice and data services.

It is also targeting a less-affluent level of society by pitching its technology as the ideal platform for connecting computers at internet cafes in townships.

How about testing population spread, income groups, technology skills of iBurst users? Maybe there's something to make WBS wary?

 you lot really don't want to run any polls then - no ideas at all?

Well here's a poll idea I have:

Q: As an iBurst customer, are you concerned that the capped bandwidth you pay for, is unnecessarily wasted using the WBS/iBurst websites that you use regularly?

Suggested options:
  • Give me lightweight W3C standards compliant xhtml instead of Flash.
  • I do not care if my bandwidth is wasted using the WBS/iBurst sites.

or c) I don't bother going to the WBS site - I get all my information from MB...

haven't followed the post. but here's my input anyway.
unshaped local & international bandwith & being able to buy more bandwith with eaze(as currently possible) = Happy Iburster :D

Since people are always complaining about low speeds, no one knows what the person next to them means by slow speeds... so how bout the following poll:

What do you perceive as slow speeds?
< 64 kbps
< 128 kbps
< 192 kbps
< 392 kbps
< 512 kbps
< 776 kbps

music on hold at WBS

How is this for a poll?

The music-on-hold played by WBS is:
cool
very cool man!
appropriate for a technologically advanced audience
boring
just right
not one of the above

i'd prefer it if they got the guy to stop talking every 2 seconds during the music, so put that as an option
