What do you do during load shedding?

Because the downloads conk out with monotonous regularity, links don't always end up with the right episode you need, blah blah. And if I'm waiting for last night's episode of The Resident, I can't automate what isn't there yet.
Sure you can. Apps like sonarr will do all of that.

um sunshine, please note that some of us do not use our phones for everything. we use computerrrrrsss which are nice and big and have screens larger than 5" and don't use stooopid apps (which used to be called programs!) for everything.

Ellies invertor with 4 batteries. Use some lights, Wifi, Alarm and TV. Carry on. Gas stove so tummy cant complain either.
Glad the previous owners did something good in the house at least.

I know the neighbours have a few kind words for us when we the only house with lights on , especially outside.

One thing I can bet you the birth rate will skyrocket with all this load shedding,
as people with no power, and lights out will shag, as its better than watching TV.

I watch Netflix.

I purchased one of those 600W Ellies inverter/battery trolley systems at Builders for R5800. I get about ~5hrs out of it when the TV is on. A lot longer if it's just powering the router, switches & cctv. It will also be powering my backup LED lighting system from this weekend onward.

Now I'm thinking of getting another unit for my PC.

Just wait it out occupying myself with something that doesn't require electricity. My husband and I make craft items we sell at local weekend craft markets, so we busy ourselves with the parts of that that don't require electricity.

iPad + ShowMax, Netflix, YouTube.. will be watching on tv as soon as i fix ups.

Does it make food and water? Need to know towards preparation due to recent events.

Wow, you just made and even bigger tit of yourself than usual with that sarcastic, uninformed, snotty and unasked for post.

It's amazing how stupid people blame the technology, and not themselves, when they run around like a headless chicken at 1am to download their shows.
