Hi all,

Besides traffic between home and work, or business traffic, what do you do with local bandwidth?

This may seem a stupid question, but I am not using it at all, so the ISPs could bundle unlimited local bandwidth and I still wouldn't care.

Any interesting sites? Downloads? Torrents? Gaming?

I don't see the point of local-only bandwidth either.

It's only really useful for 4 kinds of people
- people pirating stuff from local news servers
- gamers
- people who don't mind changing router settings every few hours
- people who can and know how to split local & international traffic on their routers

For the rest of us, it's pointless...

1. Linux distrobutions and updates
2. Windows updates run on local.
3. Nvidia (and ATI if I'm not mistaken) is available on local-only.

Splitting routes on a computer (especially Linux) is really not hard and really saves a lot of money at the end of the day. This stops the need to "people who don't mind changing router settings every few hours".

That'll be me
Well only Series like Heroes, How I met your mother, Fringe, ..... etc. But I still pay my DSTV subscription though .... just don't want to wait for it to air here

That just screams DODGY. You're (supposedly) on the premier nzb indexing site in South Africa but now you want to switch to nzbsa:confused:.

My thoughts: you either don't have a NewsHost account or you're about to be banned.

Nice try anyway;)

No No, I guess I didn't explain the full story I have a second Newshst account and it renders no use for me to have two accounts in the same torrent portal, dont ask how I got its a long and boring story.

Thats why im willing to go to nzbsa or bitfarm, I know very well that :D Newshost :D is the best.

You dont have anything to loose
