If I remember right Makro had some bins where you can drop stuff off at.

My local shopping centre has a large skip specifically for e-waste

Here there is no such thing as a waste bin for TVs etc. That idea is still to arrive here. So everything goes to the tips.

Starts with the firearm range on the farm, then into the rubbish pit.

Volatile elements are released into the air and eventually settle back to earth. The remnants in the pit slowly leach into the ground water. Everything is returned to nature. Organic recycling I call it.

From a cursory look at gumtree and fb marketplace one mans rubbish is another mans rubbish.

That said, I would gladly have taken one of those CRT's posted up above for retro gaming.

What do you do with your electronic waste (e-waste)? Do you put it out on the street and wait for someone to remove it? Or do you take it to a designated site? Or do you have someone collect it?
Let it accumulate until I have a load, then drop it off for some cash on way to somewhere.

Take to a depot at a local shopping centre when I get around to it. Until that time, it accumulates, first in the office then the basement and when I can't get to the tools I need to the waste depot.

Usually strip out what I can use, then take it to a place that handles recycling it. But the latter became a bit difficult in the last year. So for now I strip it, and store in the hope of disposing of the remainder properly later.

I usually throw them all in the variable furnace piece by peice and siphon off whatever gold/copper/metal comes out.

Wait I thought everyone just eats it? You know...grind it up and sprinkle it on your cereal
