I have it in black.
It's just the color they have on their site.

Same as the chair I got from Cecil Nurse, Advertised in red available in multiple colors and combinations.

Both suppliers quote per item as they have large catalogs.
 
This whole thread reminds me of that "mean jerk time" scene in the last episode of Silicon Valley SE01
 
Just saw a nice one in the Game pamphlet that came in the newspaper today.
One for R1499 and another that loks like leather for R1899.

I had one of those plether chairs.
But folks here have positive reviews for them, I on the other hand have nothing good to say.

I went to a factory office furniture store here and the R500 el'cheapo chair was a far better chair than the Makro chair.
 
Why do most of the shops never display the price on their website?
It's like you are forced to ask them to mail it to you.

PS. You probably cant see, but the plastic arms keeping the backrest propped up have both snapped under my 83kg of fatness..

Anyway, I went to an actual office furniture joint (who we do work for) and got a proper high back with real leather and a 5 year guarantee. I figured a 2.6k chair over 5 years will work out cheaper than a 1.5k plether game special with only a 1 year warranty. They delivered it yesterday, havnt had much chance to game in it, cuz they threw in a free carpet mat so I was sliding around last night :D
