What do you think about farcry 2??

I start playing it a week or so back but it wasn't any fun???? the graphics on the game is stunning,and the playability isn't bad but still I find Crysis and COD4 more interesting than Farcry 2:o
 
and its like they planted a gps in your @ss the enemy's hit u no matter what... but still a different experience
 
Yea thats what i hate about AI, either they cannot hit when your right in front of them or they hit from anywhere on the map.
 
I am surprised that no South African gamer has mentioned the fact that there are Afrikaans and Zulu speaking enemies in the game and that one can shoot the crap out of them?

That should have been the first thing that South Africans should have noticed. I am actualy questioning whether people have played the game.

This game is based in central africa but has way too many South Africans in it.

U know what surprised me is that there has been no law suite for it being racist :rolleyes: there are way too many whites in the game for an africa game hahah
The afrikaans and zulu lines are only a few lines and gets on your nerve after a while.
 
As I said elsewhere - for me - the end really sucked ... but ...

I really enjoyed the game - and its really fantastic gaming value. No FPS game has ever kept me going for so long on first play. The game is obviously made for bussy people who can only do one/two missions a day - and in this way it works great. The graphics and sound are truly awesome. I so enjoyed those bird sounds ("tortelduiwe"). It's definetly worth paying for and playing through. That it plays perfectly on my old rig makes it a winner ... no doubt about it.

The interesting thing is that the online registration makes PC games resellable ... and that is a good thing. I uninstalled and revoked my license this afternoon - so I can sell the game to someone else and that person can get a new online license (and revoke it and sell in on when finished). This is what PC gaming needed. I hope this system stays unhacked (if such a thing is ever possible). Anyone interested in buying my copy can let me know ... :-)
 
I enjoyed it for the first few days, then realised I was doing the same thing.
Waste of R350. COD5 is much better and the online is good fun.
 
far cry 2: its gets boring after a while ... COD5 on the other hand is just oh so nice! :D ... Sacred 2 is cool also ... Fallout 3 is just depressing ... (you cant help bur slump into depression playing the game ... guess the theme of the game does this)

hear hear. one of the most boring games I have ever even tried to play. Even though I don't play I think it would be more interesting to level a character in WoW

Has been cracked on the 2nd day afetr it has been released.
I have to admit, I did not buy Far Cry2. Just alone the procedure to get the game going is insane. App you are only allowed to activate/deactivate the game 5 times. I'm sorry, but what bullsh*t is that?

Played it at a friends house. Looks nice though
Just out of interest, how much do you want for your copy bevonk?

I activated and deactivated my copy without any problems ... took a few seconds during the install process. It really wasn't a big deal. If it didn't work then I guess it would have been a big deal for me also.

I've got no price in mind. For me it's about sponsoring part of my next purchase (which will probably be COD 5). If you're keen you can PM me a cash offer (more than I could get at Cash Crusaders :D ).
 
I really enjoyed the game, only thing was the running around that got to me :)
