i use my Macbook (C2D 2ghz, 2gig ram) for college. i goto vega and it is all i need to get through the multimedia leg of my 3 year course basically using it for Adobe illustrator, dreamweaver, indesign, photoshop, and flash. also use aperture
i use my mac for everything else to (music, movies, internet). i have a fairly mean PC that has been sitting around for 4 months since i got my Mac.... poor thing

Internet - web publishing - Limewire - iTunes - movies - bubbles - basically everything I do on the PC ... and its in the lounge next to the aircon set on 28 degrees where the PC is in the back room at around -10 degrees.. so yea. Still like the PC as it has 3 LCD monitors and that is great for mucking around especially for web publishing..

Need to add iChat to my list - my mother in the UK is always on it with my oldest.

Use it for Final Cut Studio 2. Otherwise watch some DVDs, copy a non-commercial DVD, watch some anime sometimes, listen to music, play a bit of Quake4 (when I had a bit of time).

I have MS Office on my Windoze Laptop which I use for Office related activities and email/internet. I also use SpeakFreely on Win and Skype
on my Windoze XP machine. SpeakFreely actually has benefits over
other chat clients.
