With Cell C moving away from their own infrastructure we know that some customers will connect to MTN's network (Prepaid i believe) while other customers (Postpaid) will be using Vodacom's infrastructure.
This makes me question what the Cell C coverage map actually shows because it does not differentiate between the two. It also seems to show a blend of both. This raises a few questions.
1) Can a prepaid and postpaid customer be in the same place where one has coverage and the other doesn't (For example many of my hiking locations only have MTN coverage so will only prepaid customers have coverage there)
2) What does the map actually show? MTN, Voda, a mix of both
Cell C

MTN

VODA

None of them are really a perfect match.
This leads me to my next question.
Is the agreement as simple as Prepaid on one and Postpaid on another or is it done on a tower by tower basis giving Cell C the opportunity to tailor the experience in areas that may have limited coverage or coverage from only one of the big 2
