they "say" that they have various checks and a set of rules that a car needs to meet, but no where do they mention exactly what these are?

Im sure I read somewhere that a VW Mastercar cannot be labelled that if its been in an accident or had any spray work done? Is that right?

Full service history, along with certain age and mileage constraints. Also, vehicles with past structural damage shouldn't be sold as Mastercars - that doesn't imply that they are necessarily 100% of past repair work and/or spray-painting.

i bought mine and it didnt have a full service history

they do a 50 point check IIRC ..but nice thing about it was the check was krap and they gave me a month to see if anything else was wrong

my one tyre was messed, my battery died cause of no battery water and some noise i found

they fixed up the problems except for the noise and up to today i have no idea what that is

Was meant to have. At its simplest a Mastercar is second-hand VW still within the factory warranty. For that warranty not to have lapsed, the car needs to have a full service history. Whatever you bought should not have been sold as a Mastercar.

what about re-sprayed panels? im selling my car and took it to AA to get a 40-point check done. The oke said that he can see that 2 panels have been sprayed...

and this was supposed to be a Mastercar?

Quite possible. As I said, as long as the damage wasn't structural a repaired car can still be sold as a Mastercar.
