What gives Axxess

Okay I joined up for the 10Gig small account. This morning I checked to see how much bandwitdh I used expecting almost zero and here is what I get

Bandwidth used in May 2005 by [email protected]
IN: 248967880 OUT: 355320656 Start Time: 2005-04-30 16:35:45 Stop Time: 2005-05-01 00:06:52
IN: 433994404 OUT: 721544145 Start Time: 2005-05-01 00:09:27 Stop Time: 2005-05-01 09:49:10
IN: 2194247 OUT: 989753 Start Time: 2005-05-01 09:49:07 Stop Time: 2005-05-01 10:24:59
TOTAL Bandwidth =1.763Gb

How is this possible and look at the amount of bandwith I supposedly used.Why do they start from 30 the of April 1600 and not from 01 May 2005 00:00. At the rate they track my bandwidth I should hit my cap at 12 tonight :D
And this on dsl384.

We have just finished the Account Login(ADSL Usage) page.
This is still in BETA form and new features will be added soon.

Yes there are some bugs in it but that's only on the display page.
For a accurate total you can go to http://userstats.adsl.saix.net
and user your present Username & Password.
There you will see your correct usage. We are still busy with the
updated version on our servers.
Our radius server uses the saix data for capping and not the data
from our webpage.

These guys are on the ball man! Finally, someone who's serious about affordability and customer service!

I started a 1.7 gig download this morning without even thinking about when I'm gonna be capped! :D
 
Yes this is my first month im on a 10Gig account and still feel guilty when Im playing online games thinking about how much bandwidth this is gonna cost me, but then I remember no more 3G cap to worry about :D If I eat up all of my 10Gigs I shall have to get the 20Gig deal only R100 more.
 
Now if only the SAT3 whore would drop the line rental charges, we'd be all set :p

WiseCrack, It looks like all is now working properly on our online stats viewer.
I think it's even more accurate than the SAIX one!
Or that could be my famous last words :)

Yes I always did like the fact that I could come in after being capped at your Internet Cafe, have a few beers talk IT and surf the net.Thats what I call an all in one package :D

Reading the Threads, it looks like AXXESS is ok on P2P. The next question is what has been the experience of anyone once they have GONE OVER THE CAP (Dont laugh, it is possible). Is everything slowed down (and if so to what) or are you locked out from international sites completely. Will E-mail download from Server and Local access still work.
 
Lol I really dont know. I bought on prorata last month and did not go over the cap. I will give them a call tomorrow and find out for you. Maybe Franco could post regarding this.

Hi Toby

Once you have gone over your cap then all international bandwidth is throttled(Slowed Down) but your local is not affected. It is identical to a 3Gb Telkom/SAIX account.

Hope that helps with your question.
 
And how is the shaping going with axxess?What speed are you getting on P2P?
 
I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank Franco,Paul and Johan from AXXESS P.E. for the great service and help with getting my uncapped line going,just need some help getting my movies down faster..hahahaaaa

i would like to also say well done to the Axxess team. Took me < 10 mins to get connected. and so far the speeds are really nice.

we need more customer service like this. well done !
