What gives Axxess

What is your total cost with the DSL384 and the 10 gig axxes package .. After going on their website and reading posts it looks like they have what i am looking for... service and commitment to their product. :)
 
It all comes down to R900. Well I take it like this I was paying for dsl384 and 3Gig cap>>R750. So R150 more is worth it. I hit my cap last month on the 10th :eek: This month after dl a couple of files,playing online games,streaming radio and surfing the net I am on 4.7Gig usage.
 
is there any way of checking whether the account is capped or uncapped? just for interest sake?

Then you must share what you know. It does not help starting rumours about something people including myself is paying for and then saying something stupid like enjoy it while it lasts. People is paying for a service and if you know something then you must share it or STFU.
Not atacking you m8t but spill the beans if in fact you are telling the truth.

What do you mean by checking if the account is capped or uncapped? Do you mean if it is shaped or unshaped? The account is shaped.
 
to check if the account you are using has a limit and thereafter will throttle your international bandwith?

Exactly. You don't need to mention names, but if you know something, share it.
 
Yes I dont want to go back crying to Telkom begging them to give back my crappy 3Gig account after telling them where they could shuff it :D

Is there anything that can be done if they suddenly decide to change the game again? If enough users get a 10, 20 or 30 gig account, would we have a legal case?

(Q) Do I have to sign a contract?
(A) There is no contract so if the bandwidth changes, or something better comes out, then you simply sign up with the best solution.

Now you can't get more honest than that!
Wish more ISP's would take notes from the guys at Axxess.
 
Anyone else that can not browse their email or surf international web sites?
This happened yesterday as well. Local seems to be fine.
I wonder if this is only related to Axxess users?
 
WiseCrack - All SAIX/Telkom accounts are affected as far as I was told by the powers that be at SAIX.

Sheish that was fast :D Anyways it just seems to be for a couple of minutes. It is fixed now.

My ADSL line is not installed yet, but I got my account activated in the mean time...those guys from Axxess are EXTREMELY fast, and very friendly and helpful as well...well done

I faxed the application form from my secretary's office, walked up 2 floors to the boardroom. When I got to my pc, I had an e-mail waiting for me informing me that my account is active!

I just couldn't believe it!!!

Again, well done to the Axxess team!
 
Yes and when you have a problem, not that I have had many, they will sort it out. They will actually call you saying something like I will get back to you in 10 minutes and guess what they will, depending on your problem off course. And this continue untill the problem is sorted out. Thank you to Paul and Johan for sorting out my problem this morning even though it was Telkoms fault as usual. Anyways if and when Telkom cap local bandwidth and Axxess 30Gig option is still available I will go with them.
