I pay my student son's monthly prepaid on his cell phone (R150) and he tops it up from his pocket money if he runs low between my monthly top-up, and I pay R175 for his land line ADSL service [2G/month] (shared with another).
His Samsung slider phone is giving trouble, so we're looking at a replacement, and that leads to a good few questions.
1) He's keen on the iPhone 4, but has an iTouch 4, so what's the point in getting the iPhone seeing as the iTouch can do it all except the telephone calls. I, of course don't like the price of the iPhone 4. What hand set do you recommend?
2) Would it be better to go with a 12 month contract that includes a phone?
3) A little off topic, but what's the best priced home land line or mobile internet service ?
