What happened to the PC Zone thread?

We are hopping to launch our website early next year. It depends on what the designers come up with and what the owners want.

Just a word of advice, don't let the website designers dictate to you. If you want an example of an excellent site have a look at www.newegg.com, I have not come across a better site yet. The whole layout and interface is excellent.

I was very unhappy with the smudge on the main door. I had visited the store early on friday but later that day I returned to buy a cable and noticed a smudge about the size of a R5 coin. Please be more like Makro and clean the smudge. There is something fishy about that smudge on the primary entrance door.

We are trying to teach the store which has been running for 12 years (12 centuries in PC store years) to be more like Makro. What part of this is confusing? :D We are also trying to locate the source of a fish scent ;)

Thread necro:

Any idea if PC Zone stores still exist? I remember buying pc components from them in Pinetown in the past.
Are they still open somewhere else or did they sell up/close down?

Nah, they dieded.

Damn. They were my go-to for all of my computer needs.

I suppose online stores like Wootware are the best option now.

Unfortunately DBN in general doesn't have any brick and mortar PC parts places that I would inherently trust anymore.

Matrix Warehouse used to be partially OK, but even they've gone downhill recently.
