Anybody have any updates on the live date, according the project plan the cable should now be connected and undergoing 6 weeks of testing but I have not seen anything in the media

I thought about this earlier this week as well and went to their site, but could not find anything constructive either.

Was meaning to drop rpm a PM to see if he may have heard anything, but then if he did - he surely would have written up an article.

Still can't hurt to keep them (Seacom) on their toes :p

We all complained so bitterly about the 4 daily SEACOM articles that they decided "F* you all, no more articles then!" and also rolled up the cable and sold it to someone else.

 In South Africa, they are Neotel. It's only because Neotel is landing the SEACOM cable that it's happening at all.

We're excited 2b hosting SA's top media heads and bloggers on 28 May so look forward to some superb coverage of our progress in the market.

Thats from their twitter feed, so we will be swamped with news at the end of this month.
