After your cap you pay like you won't believe: R1 per MB. And you do not get switched off either; you just move onto that ridiculous rate.
They do send you warning e-mails...once when you hit the 50% mark and the when you reach the 95% mark.
Why don't you just use MySignal and set your limit under the Max Cap Limit under the Config tab?Once you hit the cap , MySignal will drop your connection automatically
Im not so sure if should believe all of this because they didnt even put it on their
web sight i mean really....

and you'll see that they have indeed increased their data bundles.
Also check out their website.I think they were waiting for the first of March before they started to officially advertise the new offerings.

I exceeded the cap by a gig, without realising last month - just to find an additional R1000 added to the bill 
I have never received one of these warning e-mails.... So tread carefully!
At least now with a 20gig cap its a little better..

Btw ,which 20 Gig cap are you talking about?
This how it works.Say you're on the 1 Gig option, Sentech will allocate an extra 400M that you'll start using once you hit your 1Gig cap.But that 400M is not for free.You'll be charged 1R/M.Lets say you continue using the extra 400M and you finish all of it , you then get cut off the network.You bill will then have (your monthly installment for your package) + R400 rands
If you only use 10M of the allocated extra 400 , then your bill will have (your monthly installment for your package) + R10 rands

Guys why are we talking about flexi packages, who would take these contracts????? Anyway there's no cap for the classic packages, I hit 15gig on my 128 package and didn't get nailed for the extra gigs.
Some of us who had no choice
I know.I used to be on the 256 package and was hitting 30G every month

@ the risk of sounding blond - why not choose iburst or uninet? Why pray tell why?
I never had any major bad experiences with Sentech.Also I didnt want to go through another round of the expensive process of initial setup...either with IBurst or UniNet.
Besides , at the moment sentech are offering the lowest cost per M of data

Im on the MyWireless flexi10000plus and now have a 20 gig cap, its not too hard getting used to only 20gigs a month...
As far as speed goes the upgrade is amazing, im getting over 1mbps consistently
Im downloading torrents at an average speed of 150-200 KB/s (and that's over the last 20 hours)
For the first time in a long time, im a happy customer

I think its just over R2000pm, but Im not sure..
Flexi 1000...the one with the 2G limit

.In my first month of swiitching I chowed half of the then 1G limit in just the first 3 days...lol.The whole capping thing is just insane...Countries in Europe , Asia and the Americas realized this a long time ago.Capping is against the freedom that the Internet is suppose to be about.

They should slow you down to 64kb/s or let you go on after peak time or something after you use up all your data and the R1 per meg extra data they allow you. It sucks to be cut off...

I echo your sentiments.
I went over the cap as well without realizing. No warning emails etc... just found out one day I couldn't connect anymore. Took a week to get connected again after an extra R800. Email address been the same since first connection in 2003/2004 (can't remember) It was the [email protected] address too. After huge bitching and moaning session I suddenly started to get notification emails again. So far so good.
