Hi Guys

does anyone have an idea of what the above mentioned is and how to obtain it?

My car needs to go for Police clearance and it seems this is required.

Clayville Fitment Centre is an Approved DATADOT installer.

DataDots are available from only R450 to R550 depending on the application.

You will need microdots for your vehicle before a Police clearance can be issued.

Good to see some people here who know this stuff. I have just received a quote for a new car which includes a line item of R 1 550 for data dots. I have two questions:
- Am I being ripped off for a C-segment sized car?
- Is it obligatory / advisable to have this done?
