Hi,
I've been looking at some values that my D-Link router reports for the line condition, but I have no idea if its good or bad. The Telkom techie didn't know either because "the screen looks different than what he's used to".
Does anyone here maybe know what's acceptable for the following parameters:
SNR (Downstream and upstream) dB
Atenuation (Downstream and upstream) dB
Line Errors:
ADSL layer (FEC and CRC)
ATM Layer (HEC)
I suspect my line is running far too many errors (more than 65535 FEC and CRC errors per day after which the counter stops), but I'd like to have some ammo before phoning Telkom...
Thanks
