What is DivX VOD.

I recently got a new Sony LCD TV, I found that it comes with a registration code for Divx VOD. I'm with Telkom so I can't really see what this is. any ideas what is this and how I can use it.

Video on Demand perhaps?

if you can't get on the internet to find out what it is, chances are you won't be able to use it either...

Divx is an encoder for video, VOD stands for "Video On Demand" its quite useless here in SA

The first link says it's to play purchased divx movies.
