Ag it just doesn't sit lekker with me... Hey "I drive a TURBOCHARGED......... 1.0L!" I'll laugh in someones face if they tell me thatDifferent strokes... It is extremely economical and environmentally friendly. If I had the cash, I would get such a car for the day to day and an SUV for the weekend. If I had even more cash, I would also get a performance vehicle for the weekends
Look, tbh i can see why its a great motor, and why people would want one, but for me personally... NAH!

Small turbo engines are the way of the future, so best not to sneer at them ~ remember I said this when you too are driving a 1.0 turbo with the same performance and power as a V6 3.0 litre..........

But as i said, i know they're good and tick all the right boxes with consumption while still having power etc etc etc.. I still dont like em!

Maybe oneday when turbos don't break so much.
Mazda RX-7 or RX-8? (1.1-1.3l, yes it's a rotary and not to frugal)

I'm not arguing that all motors MIGHT become small and that it's a trend.. I'm well aware of that. Doesn't mean i have to like it...
You cant even compare a rotary to a frugal motor...
