There are more urgent matters to attend to like Crime, Gender based violence, stealing of funds, extreme inflated salaries of the higher ups etc.

It is a good question, but it isn’t question which can be answered by this community alone. It is a decision made by the public interest. This is an ordinary question which needs to be answered by the ordinary person.

I have always been in the opinion that our public interest is an opinion propagated by the state which is a tool leveraged by any and all governments. The ANC and the EFF are revolutionaries, we have seen with the central command council that there is totalitarianism, not to mention that there is a move made to centralise governance, but this is all beside the point.

The ANC in my view is now stronger than ever, and the EFF are playing their cards at the right time, both with a populist drive. The elitists warming up to the people. They will both do good at the municipal elections. Renaming ‘Apartheid’ is a means to an end, I am sure their average voter, "our people", would welcome a new legacy.

Of course not. It's just another example of pandering to gullible voters in an attempt to distract them from reality. It's all part and parcel of the constant fanning of racism, dumping money into failing companies, refusing to deal with overstaffing, National Health Insurance and so on. The goal being to cling to power no matter what the cost.
