What is the BEST Diablo 2 MOD?

Thanks to lord_spaceman, I've decided to give Diablo 2 (with LOD) another go... because right now, I have nothing else to play.

I remember this one MOD LOOOOOOOOOONG ago that where level'd up faster and got nicer items at the start of the game and it would progressively get harder but I can't remember it and I'm sure, by now, something better has come out.

Can you guys direct me to the best mods?

I just wanna make the game more fun, not change graphics etc.
 
Good thread gdiza. Was looking around the other night for good D2 mods, but couldn't find anything. Any help on this subject appreciated!
 
I would love to know the name of the mod I used to play years ago...

It just gave you nice items (sometimes unique) items, you levelled up faster (but it slowed down as you levelled up "the speed at how fast you level up") and you got to face 'later' monsters 'sooner' and you also got 'more money' when you killed monsters (because the game got progressively harder)
 
I'm actually going to put this on my mom's PC and see if she'll get into it, she always complains I never let her play the games that I play... so yeah!
 
I'm playing Median 2008 at the moment. Got it with last month's PC format DVD. The new skills are quite difficult/weak later on although the sorceress' skills ROCK. She's got one lightning skill that continuously casts lightning novas at 0.4 intervals. It only costs you mana when you cast it and it remains active for 60 seconds + (ATM by skill remains active for about 120 seconds).

play online.. then try to kill the 3 prime evils all come together in tristram.. muhaha

Try here. It has alot of things and there own realm with instant level 9-18-42-99 (i missed some though lol)
and you get the best possible itemz from drops. ((Yellow itemz have random stats though))
