What is the biggest security vulnerability where you work?

Company data leakage to and through vulnerable devices, usually on personal/BYOD devices.
Use of unsecured file-sharing services.
Burglary.
 
* Removable media
* Outdated software
* Users leaving their workstations unlocked
 
Very little to none we have a closed network that the system runns on and you can only access it internally
To get access to a internal network point you first need to get through 2 security check points and then walk a kilometre to get to the first building
 
the people despite the amount of effort in training and educating them on the threats. Oh yes, do not forget the BOSS or accountant
 
Ignorance around Information Security, mostly by staff with too high access rights...
 
Carelessness and lack of proper security education is hands down the winner. People open or delete things not realising what they are doing. Not enough concern is given to this fact.
 
I work from home, my laptop's hard drive is encrypted, and I am very aware of privacy and security issues online. I guess the biggest possible security risk is my router but, I feel I have taken enough steps to ensure it is very hard for anyone to hack and compromise it's security.
 
Remotely accessing clients pcs to transfer files to and fro
 
The attitude of the staff. They are not overly concerned about company security, they'll still get their pay at the end of the month regardless.
 
IT incompetence. People don't steal info on storage media these days. It's so easy to upload.
 
We have pretty solid protection from anything software related, well as solid as it gets I suppose, so I suppose the fact that it's quite easy to stroll into any of the office buildings

Definitely people risk. Our company relies on lots of documentation, bill of materials, excel spreadsheet to calculate pricing. We have thousands and thousands of different customer products we work on. Its a headache to try and implement user rights on folders on a share right so certain staff end up gaining access to all data out of necessity. It is definitely the biggest security risk. We also have the risk of staff opening ransomware emails etc - fortunately we backup daily so this minimizes the damage but even that is susceptible.
 
Staff's Internet naivety, carelessness, not having a sense of proper security awareness, even when educated. It somehow doesn't seem to stick anywhere between the ears.
People open or delete things just because they receive it, without a thought about where it's from and who this stranger is that they may have received it from.
Or being totally oblivious when they receive some strange message from a known address saying: "Click here"... They will click!
