Could Probably get R50 a game
MAG is unusable

About 6 months ago I bought the PS3 with 3 games, 2 remotes and the DvD remote for R 6500 or there about.

Was brand new. 500GB version I think. Bought it from Makro. Laaitjie saw it, wanted it, dad bought it :o

Can't say I'm surprised. There was another thread where they are selling a bottle of whiskey for R2 million.

I reckon you could get between R80 and R100 a game.

MAG is Kark :p

That sounds better :P. I'll try the carbonite way; perhaps that will work!

MAG wasn't THAT bad, although not THAT good either haha. Yeah, a server shut down would render that game utterly useless :/

THe perfect place would be sagamer.co.za I am a trusted member there (According to my itrader numbers)

Some tips :
No one is going to buy it as a bundle unless you offer it at a very good price ie dirt cheap
You will get ppl wanting to split the whole combo as well as games. You are not going to sell the whole bundle as one, unless you find some old tannie who is clueless but wants to spoil her grandkids for christmas.

Thanks for the reply. So, should I rather make 3 threads, one for the console, one for the games and one for accessories?

Are you selling it to generate funds to purchase another console or just for the cash? if you don't need the cash use it as a media box extender for another location in your house. I use mine in the bedroom, with a remote, connected to my file server, works a treat. have not played a game on console in 2 years.

Hey Bud, I recently sold my PS3 320GB and games and actually didnt make out too bad.

First thing, DO NOT sell as a bundle, people will offer you peanuts.

Make a list of all your games, check online second hand game prices and make yours competitive (I say R20 lower than the average price). Once you have a list and happy with the prices, advertise them on sagamer, gumtree, OLX, etc. Maybe offer a discount if someone is willing to take multiple games.

Sell your console with any accessories for a set price and maybe throw in a couple games (preferably the oldest ones in your collection)

It will take time but you will eventually make some decent money.
