What is this second hand laptop worth?

A colleague wants to sell her old laptop to a neighbour.

It's an Acer Aspire 5333
Celeron P 4600
2GB RAM

And I'm going to format the thing and put windows 10 and Office 2016 on it.

Should I rather put windows 7/8 on it?

What can she ask for it?

PS: Don't factor in the software in the price.

Also just install Windows 10, it's not heavier on the system than 7 or 8.1, which will repeatedly ask to be updated to 10 anyway.

It has probably Windows 7 Premium kind, which is upgraded to Win 10 Home. You will have constant problems with windows updates.

Install Windows 7 Ultimate and DAZ loader. Validate online on MS Geninue Advantage site. Then proceed with upgrading to Win 10 by either:

1. Generate GenuineTicket.xml and doing fresh installation by booting from installation media and then inserting this ticket file to the new installation when offline.
2. Normal upgrade by running setup program from ISO image (but not by Windows Update, it is buggy).
