What is your fuel consumption?

2001 BMW 320i
9L/100km mixed driving
7L/100km long distance

Aircon on 100% of the time.
 
Audi A3 1.9 TDi

I drive about 70% highway, average about 5.6l / 100 km
I have a rather heavy foot, so can get less if I really wanted to. But where's the fun in that?

VW Golf 2.0 TDI

Heavy traffic to and from work distance is about 22km - 16km/l = about 6.3l/100km. Very heavy foot after work. Just love the mid-gear (3rd and fourth) acceleration afterwork.

Long distance/open road: 4.6l/100km
(Did Cape town to JHB on several occasions and has been very satisfied. On average, a full tank in Cape town gets me to Bloemfontein before empty, and thats already more than 1000km:))

I have actually not been very good with monitoring my fuel consumption since I got my 2.5RS coz it doesn't have an onboard reading, so I kinda "vibed" it and guestimated that I was using around 11l/100km. But lately my wife got a logbook app for her iPhone results of the last 1000km (80% urban driving in traffic, 20% freeway) are as follows:

2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Wagon
8.2l/100km :D

Was super stoked with that - looking forward to seeing how things pan out over several thousand kms.
