We worked on laptops anyway. No real call for such extreme specifications. A standard i7 processor, 32Gb of RAM and an HD screen are perfectly adequate. However those who wanted could get an external display in the office. I have my own extra screen at home, but hardly ever use it.My question to those that go into the office is what hardware do you use?
If you work from home and at the office you probably need something portable which means severely hobbled performance because of the form factor and power consumption constraints?
Or can you get affordable portable machines with 28" 4K displays, 64GB RAM and 8+ core processors these days?
