What it will take to keep Eskom going

save Eishkom? mercy kill it , and replace it with private power generation,

I mean the Chinese Build power stations and run them like a well oiled Communist machine, with 20 hour work days,
where nobody dares complain, because that's communism, and all for the greater good of the party.

There are plans. Do you expect them to do it in one year?

No complaints, I get what I pay for.

Doing better than PE with dam levels at 12.3%.
Anc also have plans.

You get what you pay for but 5 years ago you got the same for half the price. Good that you enjoy this.

PE shows the nearby future of CPT. Since the last drought the DA has added 0 desalination plants. More people moving to CPT all the time.

Touch wood, with CPT shedding less than Eskom, I have been lucky with the current wave and missed it.
I do however think I will be hit tonight as we have stage 1.
Still much better off than the rest of the country.

The DA is just another socialist failure, competing with the ANC to be useless. The DA will never be able to supply affordable electricity. Just like the ANC, the DA will force itself to be the middleman and fvck it up.

Haha, what are you smoking boet? CT is so far ahead of the other major metropoles it's not even funny. Just on load-shedding, we get one less stage, which makes a huge difference on a cumulative basis...

You are measuring against the worst cities in the world. It is much closer to other SA cities in terms of load-shedding and crime, than it is to other world cities. It was pure luck that CPT was not completely destroyed in the last drought, next time it won`t be so lucky.

Mine hasn't doubled. Not sure what you're going on about. The DA is doing a far better job to say otherwise shows you're just being retarded.
Go check your municipal payments, the DA loves cash cows like you who don`t care about cost. "Together we do you pay more!"

I'm curious: why isn't "Less looting by the ANC" one of the things that will keep Eskom going?

At least we know what to expect for South Africa and can start planning accordingly then.....
Yep, if you want or need reliable electricity, make or source your own.

The same for security, food, water, education, jobs, roads, transport, housing and healthcare.

The person who depends on the ANC government to do this all for them is an idiot whose arms will grow weary from stretching out their empty hands.
