I like to tinker with my home screen setup. Like the idea of having various launches available. Like the idea of custom fonts and various other customisations suited to my taste and needs.

The hoops one had to jump through to jailbreak an idevice made it so jailbreaking became a pain in the backside.

I like the freedom android affords users and rooting my OnePlus is a simple and straight forward process.

The fluidity of oxygenOS on a OnePlus device is the closest I've come to iOS on an android device. Flagship hardware married to a streamline OS is pure bliss.

So I have a stock launcher, squarehome launcher, Niagara launcher, nova launcher and lawn chair launcher. Rotating though said launchers keeps the user experience fresh and exciting.

I switched from an Android around a decade ago. Could never go back to one now.

Having said that; iOS isn’t for everyone and I’m glad it has competition from the likes of Android.

Problem is there are not many options. It's either Android or iPhone. You have a lot more options in phone choice with Android. iPhone is not a phone, it is culture. Also you don't have many options. In South Africa even less because you have to buy old phones due to the apple tax. It is for people who likes to be put in a box and told how they should run their lives. Which is fine.
