Have started getting emails and sms’ about discounts for crèche, insurance and others if I pay annually. Discounts range from 9-15% vs paying month to month.

Other than the clear discount, does it make sense to do so for cash flow and throw the cash you’d pay month to month into your bond?

Any other places offer annual discounts?

I havent heard of insurance companies offering a discount if premiums are paid annually

Creches can and do dissappear. At least monthly, you can switch if something goes wrong and dont have to fight to get your money back.

Pay the security company each year and get one month off as a bonus.

Would love the ability to pay extra into my phone contract each year to bring down the device costs - you can with Telkom but need to go into the store - be great if you could online. (not a benefit but nice to get it out the way)

The advantages of having a annual short-term policy is there is very seldom if ever midterm increases.
Many of the insurers (not on my preferred insurer list) take a annual premium and divide by 12 + 5-10% for monthly.
