I made a Poll but you are welcome to add in the comments.

Also what IDE do you like to use.

Me personally it is between eclipse and Visual studio...
But I will say Visual studio is really nice i like it a lot :)

I have a special place in my heart for F#. It's that red-headed stepchild that everyone pretends doesn't exist, but I find it a pleasant language to use if you're already used to C# and that entire C#.

Of the "normal" languages, C# and Python. Being able to write Python directly to all these little MCU boards with Python support (Raspberry Pico etc.) is a joy as far the workflow goes.

On the opposite end of the scale, using VBA in 2022 feels like punishment, but it's the only option allowed at work and it feels like trying to eat soup with a fork.

For IDE, Visual Studio Code for me, please and thank you.

I am one of those rare people who like VBA.

The one I liked the least was Pascal, I couldn’t figure it out.
I did like Delphi though.
I did cobol years ago, it wasn’t too difficult, but was boring.

Do we really need another thread on this?

Why is C missing?

Favorite language: C
IDE: vim
I actually didn't think about C sorry about that :X3:
and yes vim is good i don't work on it full time but it is good.

If you want i can edit the poll to include C but it will be beneath "none" and i didn't feel right doing that. So with your permission i will add it.

Old school asm as it makes me think backwards engineering and the demo scene. Otherwise I suppose there is my daily grind of C# :cautious:

Perhaps add NULL, and then C?

J/k. That’s ok, I’ll just stick my vote on C++. Close enough.

Currently I'm really enjoying Dart for a personal project but am most proficient in Java, my day job language, so enjoy it from the point of view of having a lot of experience with it. I use IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate
