I have a Pentuim D 3.4GHz and want to upgrade my CPU. Should I go for the Q6600? I see it's very popular and I would like to overclock my CPU. Any ideas which to choose and where I could buy it?

Then I'm going to buy myself a Q6600:D but tell me is Prophecy the cheapest where I can get it an do you guys know anything about the Q6700? :p

Well, PC International is selling it for a lot cheaper it seems... For value for money you'd best stick to the Q6600, I think...

Is Pcint easy/reliable enough to order from? I've always seen their prices but never gone for delivery, living in Cape Town. They don't seem too keen on single orders for retail, seeing as they distribute as well.

Any idea on the pricing for delivery and shipping time?

Thanks :D

I went to them and picked up my parts (CPU, RAM, CHASSIS in my sig). Their place is not big compare to all the big importers and they keep stock on site! Just call them and find out the rates....

I think you'll have to upgrade your motherboard if you're wanting to get a Q6600.
