What SA Guilds are there?

Hi all,

Just wanted to know if there were any South African guilds available and on which servers they are (EU), currently on Scarshield Legion, considering Lightbringer

Current server seems to be full of people who want to sell level 15 glyphs for 5GP and no one buys my potions :) so want to find a guild that people work together.

I hail back from the ally side on Bronze Dragonflight.

My mates and myself got tired of raiding with noobs (70% of the peeps really were noobs that would get into silly arguments over gear and not really worry about progress). We rerolled horde on Shattered Halls and started a guild called Bluebeans on the horde side.

There is 8 of us in the guild, but we are all 100% SA. Taking things slow and a breather from endgame content, we are slowly levelling, with most of us sitting around lvl 40-45.

Guild plans...would be nice to hit a raid once or twice a week, but the real deal breaker will be our 80 will be our cash cows for heirloom items for our twinks for premades in the lvl 29 and lvl 39 brackets. But that is still a good 6 months away...
 
Sylvannas has a few SA guilds, or at least guilds with a fair number of SAffers in them, such as Shadow Conclave (perhaps not so much anymore though from what I hear), SC Noobs, Anti-Guild, Band of Comrades, and Knights of the Pond.
I'm more familiar with the Alliance side of things though, but Volt4ge plays Horde on Sylvannas, so maybe drop him a PM for details if you feel like a trip on the dark side.
 
FoA is still around horde wise on laughing skull. We're on a break over xmas but come January will start to tackle Icecrown 10/25 man.

Anyone have anything to say about the lag and PVP? Mine ranges from 300+ to about just below 700ms
 
I am on bloodhoof, and we have a few SA people.
The South African guild "the skulls" migrated to terenas with a few guys splitting to Shadowsong.
 
If you are looking for a raiding guild, theres a bunch of South Africans in Real Men Wear Pink on Scarshield Legion, also a bunch of South Africans in the Kazaktan (or however its spelt) Chess Club on the same server.

Got our own TS server.. and i have by accident.. wiped my sites DB so i will have to start again LOL

We use EPGP and EPGP lootmaster. we currently need anyone who is willing to learn and progress while also maintaining a coolhead... we dont like ppl that yell like animals..
 
Looking for a good social / raiding guild, wanting to start HORDE, since i have 5 alliance 80s.

Volt4age, I thought about joining Sylvanas but the Population at mid-day is already full, by night-time it will be locked for low levels.
 
I am currently in a local guild on EU- Lightbringer called Braaivleis.. Alliance side :)

And yes there's also a Horde guild called Prophecy.
 
I'm in Prophecy. It's a great social guild. Raiding also happens quite a bit, 3 times a week. Raiding is 10man rather than 25man focused and we field two teams (1 'hardcore' [term used very loosely] team and 1 purely casual). 25mans do happen from time to time but it's not the progression focus, rather farm loots from ony/toc. It's a huge, active guild, lots of accounts and alts. Perfect for levelling and enjoy the endgame in a more relaxed, laid-back manner. It's Karazhan monkey! :p I kid. :) What Wiz said, although we're slow and not into too much raiding. (we do the odd raid from time to time). If you want a raiding guild, try Real Men Wear Pink. They have many South Africans as well as foreigners. For a South African only guild seek out Ire Infernus. You will have to be a good boy and play with them a bit first though. South African run guilds seem much more strict with accepting newcomers/strangers.
