I have been tried all these online calculators but dont all have updated hardware. I would appreciate it you guys could assist me on what would be the best size PSU to run this rig:

ASUS P6X58 D Premium M/B
Intel 980X (Slight OC)
EVGA GTX 570 (Sligh OC)
12 GB Dominator (3 X 4)
Domintor FAN
Fan Temperature module
2 Intel SSDs
1 Seagate 2 TB
Sony Blu-ray writer
Creative Fatality with live drive
TV Card
Couple of USB devices
6 Case FANS

I dont want to get something that is making the PSU work at say 90% all the time since the PC runs 24/7

Thanks in advance

I'd say that a decent 750W PSU would be fine.
eg. Corsair HX-750 / AX-750 or Antec HCG 750W

So 750W would not be running at 90% usage and something like a 1200W would be an overkill? Ran one of those online caclulators and it recommends a 850W

Got a corsair AX850 last week. What a beauty of a psu. I also do believe in over-specking a bit. Bit future proof and psu does not kill itself and end up giving crappy power

I tried doing the PSU calculator for you but you don't give all the information.

Minimum recommended was 580w so I think a 750w would be ideal. 650w might just be a little too small, depending on exactly how much you overclocked.

1200W would be an overkill?

Yes it would, I think only when you start using 2 graphics cards would you consider something like that.

Remember, even if it is on 24/7, it won't be drawing max power all the time (in most applications anyway), the idle load will be MUCH lower. So if you get a corsair 750W, you will be safe.

The minimum power requirements on a GTX570 is 550 Watt with 35Amps. (about 18 Amps on each 12Volt rail)
I would however go for something like a 600Watt with at least 25Amp on each 12Volt rail. (That is if you don't plan on going Sli)
