Just the state of the world in 2026. Cars / bikes driving at all hours of the night. Light pollution. Global heating and the mosquito population increasing due to the hotter weather. Good luck trying to sleep at night.

Eye mask - it's the difference between waking up at 4:30 vs 8am in summer.
Satin pillow - Wife bought a double pack as she's noticing some hair breakage apparently it helps with hair, I need all the help I can get.
Memory foam pillow - Very comfortable.

Then my routine is I read fantasy books off my phone with white text on black background until I can't remember anything I've read, then I scroll back and put a bookmark. I'm asleep in 30seconds.

Sounds Terrible. Have you considered moving somewhere nicer?

I am free of all those issues (except the mosquitos sometimes).

It's a whole lot easier and cheaper to live where I want and buy an air purifier etc. than move house.

Bed and pillow mostly.... Sometimes a gaiming chair with memory foam if my back is really killing me, F&@^(NG ice scating injury now really messing me up.

CPAP, 10 years, best thing I ever did.
The first few years brought me energy levels I never knew I had.

I believe, but never checked, there are underlying issues to people who need noise and light in the room when sleeping. I'm just worried about finding out why lol... :)

Completely dark room just give me too much anxiety to sleep.
One day, when you have time, you must really try to sort out all your phobias.

Recently got this to replace my black and pink discem special - quite nice though.

Eye mask, because wife likes to bathe the bedroom in blue light from iPad gaming when it's time to go to sleep.
Knee-pillow for spine alignment when sleeping on my side.
Sometimes ear plugs even though they don't do much, because the one, neighbour has a dog that yaps 24/7, the other neighbour lives behind the Gates of Mordor which open at ungodly hours and yet another neighbour has a muscle car that needs to be pre-heated at 03:00 for his nightly or early morning excursions into the hellscape that is life.

Sounds like you need some double glazed glass.
