What speed is the tower

Hi

I live in Hartbeespoort. I have called Vodacom 1000 times to ask where the closest tower is situated, and what speeds are the tower running.

I have installed the following external antenna

And my speed or connection is currently @ -70dbm (Very Good) and 3.66Mbps down and 2.66Mbps up

My question is - It was always on excellent , but the speed for up and down stays the same. I tested this with the B970 router, and also with the K4605 USB stick. Same speeds all round.

Does this mean that’s the only speed the tower supports ?

Great you got a HSPA PLUS. All you need know is a HSPA plus network to use it on. Looks like Vodacom still got the basic 3G/ Hspda base station in your area. Your bandwidth looks like is around 7.2. Are you using the vodacom Software?
